At the Southern Dental Implant Center, our exceptional dental team is led by our three dental surgeons, Dr. William Locante, Dr. Nancy Highland, and Dr. Paul Bland. Between them, they have completed extensive training in cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, and periodontics and have the expertise to improve your oral health and give you a sparkling white smile. Whether you are in need of a subtle whitening treatment or a full smile makeover, we can help make your dreams a reality.
Drs. Highland and Bland see patients at our Memphis cosmetic and implant center, while Dr. Locante sees patients at both locations, focusing on implant dentistry at our Nashville center. Dr. Bland is a specialist in periodontal disease and treatment.

He focuses in our Brentwood office on implant surgery and works with the patient’s existing dentist who completes the patient’s treatment by constructing the new teeth over the implants.

For more than ten years, Dr. Locante has been researching, writing about, and placing immediate function dental implants, also known as "Same Day Teeth™." Immediate dental implants eliminate the four to six month integration period needed for traditional dental implants. With "Same Day Teeth™," patients leave their surgical appointment with attractive, fully functional replacement teeth.
Dr. Locante currently holds the patent on the procedure to place a tooth on an implant the same day of surgery so that patients do not have to go without a tooth in the front while completing treatment.
Sedation Dentistry
To ensure that you remain comfortable, relaxed, and free from pain during your dental treatments, our dentists are certified to provide IV and oral conscious sedation at our Nashville and Memphis cosmetic dentistry offices. Sedation dentistry is especially helpful for patients with anxiety about visiting the dentist and is excellent for anyone who wants a relaxing dental experience.
